RE-BRANDING THE REFECTORY

Wendy Gault, head of the Refectory, requires a complete rebrand of the Refectory area. My assignment is to meet the requirements of this client. To achieve this I will need to design the following:

  • a logo
  • strap-lines
  • signs that show opening and closing times
  • menus that show prices
  • a welcome sign
  • an advertisement for healthy food (such as cold breakfast and salad bar)
  • signage to direct customers to the refectory
The designs must be colourful, quirky and in line with the student audience. She likes the branding of Costa Coffee and similar establishments. Also a new name for the refectory is required that must be quirky and funky.

Some restrictions include the low budget and certain areas must be kept free of signage/advertising such as the large windows.
